Granted this is only part, but the writers of the Declaration of Independence would cringe to know that we are in exactly the same position today. Happy birthday, America. I HOPE she’ll have many more.

I am curious how the government is interfering with our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Looks from your emphasized portions that you think it may be doing so to the point that we should throw off the government.
Let’s see … they want to make it so if you’re selling your house it first has to meet certain “energy requirements.” I’d never be able to sell mine, forcing me into foreclosure.
They want to force us to use compact light bulbs (last I knew there was an awful lot of mercury in them).
Universal health care will ultimately spell doom for this nation. We can debate that one later.
They want to control how much energy we use in our homes via monitored controls.
And, they want to force us all into puddle jumpers. Dylan just had a 2nd accident (not his fault, but the result was the same). The middle car didn’t have a dent. Nice big safe car. The back end of his car was demolished.
Yeah … maybe it’s time for a new American Revolution. On the other hand, maybe this will hasten the Second Coming. At this point, that’s what I hope for.
